Sarah participated in the creation and tour of Résonance in 2022. The highly physical work of Company 4749 requires the dancers to create movement that only evolves forwards: it is impossible to immediately return to a space just inhabited. This physical restraint symbolizes life’s constant march forward, requiring ultimate presence and intention in each choice of movement made. 

Résonance is hypnotic and spellbinding, as if time were slowing down, where living tableaux invite the public to let go. Bodies play with weight and counterweights, rising horizontally between sky and earth, defying all laws of balance. With sounds collected from nature and the sublime music of Arvo Pärt, Résonance encourages us to reconnect with our inner spaces, to forget this world that runs incessantly, inexorably. Choreographer François Veyrunes continues his trilogy Humain trop humain (All Too Human) and explores, in this second installment, the question of the sacred, the invisible, and all forms of life. Sensual, carnal, and committed, François Veyrunes' dance is a cosmological journey, an invitation to brave the unknown and our fears in order to better reconcile ourselves with humanity.
