DANCE, DANCE, DANCE - MATISSE

Premiered April 2025 at the Paris Museum of Modern Art, selected to the 82nd Venice International Film Festival Immersive Competition.

An immersive, dance-led journey through Henri Matisse's most iconic works, Dance Dance Dance - Matisse invites viewers to step inside his world featuring an original choreography by Sarah Silverblatt-Buser. The VR experience pays tribute to the vibrant movements and colours that define Matisse’s art. This journey into dance and painting grants an intimate view into the creation of some of his greatest masterpieces, including La Danse de 1909 (The Museum of Modern Art, New York), La Danse de Merion (Barnes Foundation, Philadelphia), La Danse inachevée, and La Danse de Paris (Mu-sée d'Art Moderne de Paris).

Dance, Dance, Dance - Matisse won the “Best Art Experience” at the 2025 European XR Awards.

It is currently on view at the Hangar Y (France) until March 3, 2026.
